Female focussed D&B collective EQ50 announced their 2024 Mentorship Programme this week. Applications are now open for female identifying, non binary or gender non conforming artists aged 18 or over.
This years partners come in the shape of AKO Beatz Music, Critical Music, Deep In The Jungle Records, DnB Allstars Records and Integral Records.
5 people will have the opportunity to work with one of the partner labels over the next 12 months, gaining valuable knowledge, industry insight and support to hone their skills as a producer and artist.
Plaudits and praise for EQ50 are widespread across the scene, and evidence of the organisation’s success can be seen in the output and actions of all graduates so far. One shout out in particular shout that we’ve had on our own site was from Speed Bass royalty Mandidextrous. In our recent podcast in they stated “EQ50 provided the most amazing mentorship I could ever ask for. I owe so much to that gang.” And praise doesn’t get more authoritative than that.
Charla Green, another success story of the Mentorship, spoke highly of the EQ50 team in her 1 More Thing Interview with Dave Columbo Jenkins.
Interested artists and producers have until 11:59pm on 24 April to submit applications.
