Production-wise, her dancefloor weapons such as By Your Side, Die 4 You and Lights Out have been a big moments on labels Viper, Liquicity and Ridmic respectively.

Hi, how is it going? How’s 2024 treating you so far?
2024 is treating me great! I’ve had a few busy months with some amazing bookings. I’ve been out and about almost every weekend and I’m really happy and grateful for that. With the festival season approaching, I’m even more excited. Some nice things are lined up for the summer, like Liquicity Festival and Rampage Open Air.
How did you start on this mix?
I started this mix with one of my favourite doubles, which I’ve been playing for the last few months. It’s a double with my new single, Fever, which is coming out next month! This mix really contains my favourite blends and showcases what you can expect from a CaitC set.
I always want to open and close with an original tune, either one that’s about to be released or one that’s recently released. I like to showcase what I’ve been working on, and like this, the first tune you’ll hear is my own. It kind of sets the tone for the rest of my mix. I incorporate my own tunes in my mixes to really give people a taste of who I am as an artist. For example, there is an unreleased bootleg of Runaway by Galantis in there, which is one of my favourite tunes at the moment.
Where do you find inspiration?
My inspiration comes from going to parties. Whether I go because I have to play or just to party, I always come back with a ton of inspiration and motivation. Seeing the other artists perform and do well and being up on stage doing what I love really gets my creative process going.
The last time we talked to you was in 2022. How has your D&B career changed since then?
Since then, I’ve had some amazing new releases, like ‘Lights Out’ and ‘By Your Side’. But I’ve also been getting some amazing gigs. The slots are becoming better and better, and I’m even headlining some parties in the Netherlands, which is very cool. My plans for the future are to continue growing as a DJ and producer, which I know sounds obvious, but at the moment, I’m really focussing on improving my production skills. I want to continue getting better at it and get my own sound out there.
I have some great festivals lined up for the summer and plan to showcase many new music out there. My next release is coming next month and I’m really excited about that. My tunes are usually really melodic, but I like the jump-up sound too and I tried to incorporate that in a dancefloor track while keeping my own sound. So it’s still a dancefloor track, but something a little different for me.
