The disruptive gaming/raving crew tell their story for the first time

🍄👾📍 Ravers! Gamers! All good folk who love both! 🍄👾📍

🍄 1 More Thing proudly presents Dubtendo’s first proper interview! 🍄

You might have attended one of their legendary Boomtown roadblocks…

You might have been part of one of their wild street parties or takeovers…

You’ve DEFINITELY been battered on Mario kart more than once in your life…

Now get to know the full story of how man named Jake and his friends developed a campsite walkabout into one of the coolest ways to get into festivals for free… And how, 12 years later, it’s since become a global phenomenon that represents all the fun and silly sides of rave that lured us into the game in the first place.

From massive parties to games lounges to community-minded fund-raisers, Dubtendo are doing things differently. They prioritise people and community over sales and stats and it really shows and are a vital alternative to more dominant commercial practices that seem rife in our music and culture right now.

On Saturday July 27 they level up once again with a fundraiser for Broad Plain Boxing Club who have been changing youths’ lives for 130 years in Bristol! Currently suffering dire cuts, Bristol is close to losing this essential community service and Dubtendo are doing their bit to stop that happening and have enlisted an incredible line-up for a sell-out show. Find out more.

As the brand’s most active players Kirk and Rosh explain in this exclusive documentary-style interview, this is the start of a whole new level for our retro gaming raver friends and they hope it has a positive impact on the wider scene.

The first ever platform to invite 1 More Thing for takeover (Boomtown 2022), they definitely had a major positive impact on us and we fully share their vision of boosting and 1upping people forever.
