Renowned club brand XOYO has revealed further details of a brand new sister venue launching in Birmingham this weekend. To celebrate, the venue are giving away 500 free tickets for each night and a further 1,000 (500 per night) for just £5 on their website.
Fresh from the strongest festival run we’ve had since covid, the club season is now upon us. And what better way to get this started? A new jewel in Birmingham nightlife opening its doors courtesy of one of the most influential London establishments of the last decade.

Highlighting the brutal predicament of UK club closures, and the fact we’ve lost a third of our venues since the pandemic, XOYO launched with a campaign plastered with the message ‘All We Wanna Do Is Dance.’
Following this tough time for the music and events industry, XOYO and the entire community came together when the scene was at its most vulnerable and sent a stern message to the UK government. Though the message was received, UK nightlife is still very much in a state of crisis and the venue giving away free and discounted tickets is a real heartwarming gesture which is sure to be pounced on by the dancefloor dwellers of Birmingham and its surrounding areas.
This is not the first time XOYO has extended a helpful hand, they’ve previously shown their class in 2020 by launching a campaign to raise much needed funds for our beloved NHS. Another perfect example of the brand bringing light to such a dark situation and one of many inspiring examples of how a venue can operate progressively in such an adverse market.
Famous for spearheading its monthly residency sessions where artists such as Goldie, Randall, TQD, Eats Everything, Andy C and Bicep are given an opportunity to curate their own line-ups, we’re excited to see how the Birmingham venue’s music policy will develop over the coming months.
Autumn is already shaping up to be one to remember with the likes of Pure Garage, Hospitality and Café Mambo Ibiza rolling through. Artists such as Roger Sanchez, Sammy Virji, Shy FX and Goddard are just some of the names confirmed for future months.
In true supportive fashion, XOYO will also showcase some of the hottest talent in the Midlands and continue to build on the city’s great legacy for forward-thinking electronic music. Home to the iconic likes of Aries, Hannah Wants and Chris Lorenzo, and a club culture that’s integral to the birth of UK rave, XOYO’s new Birmingham venue is an exciting new chapter for a city that knows how to party.
The official launch event on Friday September 15 promises to start proceedings with a bang as the likes of Fabio & Grooverider, Charlie Tee and Ed Solo & Deekline are all performing with MCs GQ and Navigator on hosting duties. Saturday September 16 continues with lashings of bass, garage and all the trimmings as DJ Russke, Shaqfive and Silk are sure to keep the ravers dancing until the early hours. It’s a promising start and a positive message UK club culture has been in need of. We’re really looking forward to the extension of the XOYO family.
